Students who are interested in joining must submit an application to be considered. In addition, a Parent Acknowledgement Form must be completed for the application to be eligible for review.

If you are interested in joining Decatur Robotics FRC Team 4026 for the 2024-2025 school year, you must be a student at Decatur High School in Decatur, GA. Both students and a parent/guardian are required to submit an application. The application period is open May - August. The deadline is typically the last school day of August.

The team meets year round Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room 2128. The team meets five days a week from January to April.

The team does much more than build robots and has something for everyone. Students come to the team with varied backgrounds and experience. New members do not need experience, just a genuine interest in STEM and a commitment to attend practices and all competitions. The team is organized into technical (such as design, mechanical, and programming) and non-technical (such as outreach, business, and marketing) subgroups.
